Best chicken corma Amazing! I was thinking of a fan of Indian food but after trying to kill Jagus chicken korma, I am:

Dined here with a walking group, staying at the motel for the night. Took a chance on the Salmon was I happy! It was generous, steaming hot, cooked to perfection, a beautiful meal. From memory, it came with a generous serving of vegies, so nice in winter. Congrats to the chef!

With only 2 real restaurants in Blackwater, I've been to 21 Doon on my last trip, so I chose Jag's Restaurant at Blackwater Motor Inn. The service was friendly, brisk efficient however there was little choice for gluten free with even mashed potatoes having gluten! I chose a medium rare eye fillet with seasonal veggies. Eye fillets are my favourite steak, always tender juicy unless they're overcooked: mine was medium rather than medium rare but it was still tender, juicy full of flavour. The seasonal veggies were crisp tasty, carrot, broccolini, beans snow peas: very nice. Recommended!

Well what more can i say the chef is from the sunny coast and changes the menu regulalrly to reflect the seasons food is top class without the price tag quite extensive range to choose from that will suit all pallets bookings essential as people come from all over the place to eat here do not miss out.

I have been a regular to Blackwater Restaurants and this one is the best in town. The steaks are cooked to perfection. The menu is very interesting from the entree to the desert. The prices are above other local prices, but the quality is exceptional. Steak in the heart of cattle country doesnt get any better than this. You will not be disappointed. Plus there is a good array of wines and beers to select from too.
