Costa Coffee Devonshire Road

£100 parking fine for staying over an hour having lunch with friend. Disgusted. Had Blue Badge displayed as disabled but this made no difference. Money grabbing mercenary! Not setting foot through door ever again.

Always great service from niomi and all the staff, super friendly, make my coffee perfect everytime (awkward order lol) go several times a week

There was a lady who served myself and my 2 daughters this evening who was outstanding. I didnt catch her name but she was brilliant and made my youngest daughters day

3/5 Stars because the newer staff are fantastic, always served with a smile and great customer service, loss of 2 stars because the manager is VERY rude and lazy. It appears she would rather have a natter with people rather than helping the staff members

The staff in this Costa are friendly and efficient but I can’t help thinking they’re fighting a losing battle with whoever owns the franchise of this place. Till not working on three of the last four occasions I’ve been in so they were turning customers away who didn’t have cash. Last week the coffee machine was malfunctioning. Every time I’ve been in the soap dispensers have t worked and a member of staff has to come in to reset them. I said perhaps if you get it fixed it will save you having to come out from behind the counter constantly to fix it. They said they’d reported it but nothing had been done. There’s a massive mark up on coffee so come on whoever owns this cash cow and sort out your problems rather than relying on the staff to have to deal with it.
