Bidrage med feedbackThe concept of this restaurant is promising, but the execution falls short. The staff seem miserable, the food is lukewarm, and they make you pay before you even receive your order. It's no wonder they do this. After our disappointing experience, I warned others entering the restaurant to avoid it. There are plenty of other dining options at Pleasure Beach without any issues. We had been considering getting an annual pass before eating here, but we quickly changed our minds. It's a shame, as the park itself is awesome.
Expensive for what you get-find your own table- cup of tea arrived in styrofoam cups, go get your own milk, sugar, stirrers and a napkin for your doggy tea bag. All run by kids most of whom hang around doing nothing. No service to talk about as doesn’t exist
The restaurant itself looks great, however, many of the tables had plates on them with waste food, not being cleared up despite staff standing about. We were given menus when we first arrived and were greeted by a lovely young lady who took us to our table. From there though, we waited for 15 minutes before being served, even then, we had to get the attention of someone to serve us. When we were served, the young lady (another one to the one who greeted us) was AWFUL!!! I cannot stress this enough. Her attitude was appalling. Never smiled once or muttered a word. Sure her name began with the letter L. The food itself was overpriced and not worth the money. The girl behind the bar was excellent, she directed us to a place we were looking for and so helpful with us. She was busy and smiled throughout.
This establishment was without a doubt one of the worst I have ever visited. The manager was chatting on his phone while the staff lazily loitered around, causing customers to wait for hours for their meals. It took an hour to be seated and an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes for the subpar food to finally be served.
After reading other reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the charm of this restaurant! It appears to have undergone significant renovations and is now a tastefully decorated Mexican restaurant with breathtaking views of the Icon and the park. The prices were very affordable and the food was delicious, of much higher quality than what is typically found at other theme parks in the UK. We would definitely return and recommend it to our friends and family.
