Captain Jacks - Blackpool

Awful food. We had the sharing platter. Clearly microwaved and sat on a hotplate. Came out way too quickly. I was really ill the next day. £25 including drinks and we'll never see that again never mind going back there. I would seriously suggest avoiding this place at all costs.

Staff was poor after 3 times of giving our order first the drink was wrong, then half the mains come out then the other main was wrong then what finally come was wrong again, gave up and ate it. what we ate was tasty wasn't really hot. Cocktails was good but wouldn't return. Shouldn't be difficult to order for 2 people did suggest instead of trying to remember 5 things write it down! Although a discount was applied Young staff looked miserable and fed up, not a great atmosphere

Really Wouldn’t recommend. The Food looked nice until we noticed undercooked pink slimy chicken. Chips were nice!! Toilets- Absolutely vile- Need a good clean. Could make someone ill! Overall the price you pay for the standard you get is really very poor.

Food was ok but not too hot. It seems to me that the food is waiting on the hot plate waiting to come out. Mine and other patrons were served minutes after ordering. My starter was been cleared by one member of staff and they passed my mains on the way to my table. Not the best. Not much time to get ya bum on the seat before they are asking if you are ready to order. I won’t be rushing back anytime soon

So everytime we come to blackpool, we eat here. Usually the same meal each time . The ribs chicken wings . Its never let us down. This visit however , they opted for something else , they went for the burger meal. It was pitiful ,it was not worth the money at all . I still had the ribs and chicken and the ribs were fine but the chicken was dry but juicy at the same time ..hard to describe. There was issues with ordering as the girl taking the order couldn't seem to understand a word I was saying. Then once we got the food we were eating ,she came to ask if it was all OK, we nodded with full mouths , she then continued to stand there and talk to us about how she keeps catching people with their mouths full and how awkward it had been ...not really the time to stick around for a chat ,we were eating. Getting the bill was also slow. We had to take ourselves to the bar area to get the attention to pay. Like I said,we usually come here every visit but after the sad state of affairs with the burgers and chicken. We won't be coming back again. Its no where near the standard that's been built up over the years
