Hey Hey Cupcake - Black Mountain

Store-bought party cakes would be a better choice than these cupcakes. They were stale and lacking in flavor. He ordered the salted caramel, and I tried the cappuccino, but neither was enjoyable. The cake was dry, and the icing tasted artificial. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for dessert!

While walking through Black Mountain, I decided to stop and grab two cupcakes to take home. One was strawberry, and the other was chocolate peanut butter. They were both moist and absolutely delicious! I can't wait to get more!

It couldn’t have been more perfect! I browsed through their cake gallery but didn’t find one that suited my needs for a special occasion celebrating milestone birthdays for both my wife and brother. I needed a fantastic cake. Eventually, I came across a design I liked and sent it to them to see if they could recreate it. I requested strawberry cake for the top layer and chocolate for the bottom, leaving them to choose the icing. They replicated the design exactly, which was important to me, and even better, the cake was delicious! Every single guest at the party complimented me on it, and many were busy taking pictures. The strawberry cake was definitely the favorite, but the chocolate layer was also rich, moist, and decadent. I can’t express enough how thrilled I am that I entrusted my important cake needs to Hey Hey Cupcake. Truly, it was one of the best cakes I have ever tasted!

Wow, the cupcakes here are amazing! We needed to pass some time before checking into our hotel, and we remembered this place from the day before our drive up. My wife placed an order online, which was really easy. We tried the buckets, red velvet, vanilla, and strawberry cream flavors. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite because they were all so delicious. We'll definitely be back next time!

I just tried the red velvet cupcake here and was pleasantly surprised. The cake itself was nice and damp, but the cream cheese Frosting was much better than I expected! I am very picky about my cream cheese freezing!
