Delicious wood oven pizzas. Fresh salads. We went during a festival that was in the area, so the service may have been a bit off at the time. I would go back.

A must visit place in downtown Black Mountain. Specialty pizzas that we tried were very good. Tasty with fresh ingredients. As the name suggests, pizzas are baked in a wood fried ovens. We had the bayou and a drinken clam pizzas. They were both cream sauce pizzas and were excellent. This was the second time we stopped by while visiting friends in town. I definitely would recommend this place.

Though the pizza was good, they have a long way to go with customer service. Tried calling from 4:45 til 5:20 and could never get anyone to answer the phone for a large to go order so drove there and placed order at counter. They could not explain why the phone was never answered. Pizza was ready in 30 minutes and was told the salads would take another 10 minutes, which in my mind doesn’t make sense. How did the pizza get done before the salads???? We saw our pizza hot, boxed and ready, but had to wait 15 minutes for the salads. By the time we got pizza home it was cold. I’m usually a very patient customer as I know it’s hard to stay staffed, however the restaurant was not that busy and was really a disappointing experience.

Consistently lazy service . If I were the owner I 'd tell my employees to spend less time talking and playing on phones and more on making sure guests get some kind of basic service. Shameful.
