The Gilpin Casino - Black Hawk

I ordered a steak to dine in and wanted to order a different side meal to go. Not only am i not allowed to-go order, customers ?not allowed to order more than one entree.? That?s Absurd! Even if I only ordered one meal and wanted to take the rest home, it?s not allowed. You?d have to roll it up in s napkin and sneak it out. They literally hate money. -5 stars. I almost walked out without dining at all. But I don?t care how good the service or food will be, they don?t deserve the business.

We had a delicious and filling lunch here! I ordered the california chicken club with coleslaw and it was so good. my man got the gilpin royale burger and enjoyed it too. we're coming back.

Signs are posted all over you must be 21 so I would call about having children dine with you. Service was excellent. Food was served hot and fresh. Had a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, fish and chips and a quesadilla appetizer. Every item was served hot and very tasty. Dining room was clean and orderly. Easy in and out service. Food prices were very reasonable. The desserts choices were the best. Literally the best desserts in Blackhawk. I will go back to dine.

Like many people, I swung by the Gilpin to grab a bite at Lucille Malone's because of it's interesting history. The staff was great and the food and drinks were priced perfect! Would have no issues going back.

Oil needs changed... ordered French dip and extra crispy tots. Got stale chewy tots, stale bun and crispy beef. Aus jus did not have much flavor. Chicken Alfredo was ok...lots of chicken the chicken was good. Biscuits and gravy were pretty good. Staff was friendly.
