We stopped in at 4 o'clock today the two of us they have a very large menu lots of selections. Asked a couple questions to the food server she was not for sure on several things. I asked if the meatballs were homemade and she said she didn't know. I ordered the meatballs and marinara over linguine. It came with a house salad made with spring mix. I prefer iceberg or Romain lettuce. Lots of places have changed and most their salads are made with spring mix. It's like eating grass it gets caught in my throat, you have to cut it up, not crispy, the cucumbers you have to cut up also. she did bring me my lemons and ranch dressing for my salad. The lemons were very old and slimy. The garlic toast that came with marinara was good. The meatballs were very spicy and peppery very dense and tough, hard to even cut with a knife very dry, like golf balls I would not recommend the meatballs. My husband had the crusted parmesan halibut with a loaded baked potato, asked for extra sour cream, and butter. It was not on the table, his halibut was cooked perfectly. It was still moist very flavorful. I would recommend the halibut Parmesan crusted. The size of the halibut was about 5 ounces and I believe we paid $35 a little expensive for what you get. We also ordered a huckleberry crème brûlée I would go back for the huckleberry, crème brûlée, and a cup of coffee. Not very busy at 4:30 only five tables in the dining room. There are not much choices on a Monday night. Several of the locally owned. Restaurants are closed because they're run by their owners and they need at least one night off a week. I will probably give them another chance, and definitely have the halibut.
We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. Everything was prepared perfectly. The prices were quite good for the quality. The restaurant was spacious. A good place to eat.
We wanted fish for lunch, so we checked Google and the menu here had some good options. We had a pretty good shrimp cocktail, the shrimp were not as firm as they should be, and a great mushroom appetizer. The mushrooms were in a sauce with shaved parm, and I wanted to toss in aldente pasta and some blackend chicken. Only one salad came out before our meal. They were in cold plates, and the greens were fresh, so we were happy. The Alaskan Salmon sandwich was the star. We didn't eat the bread and shared the amazing dark pink filet. I wish I had found this place earlier during our trip, I would eat here again. If there was a 4 1/2 star option, this would be it.
This is a very busy place on a Saturday night. It was the Hubb's birthday, and we were taking advantage of the birthday discount. Which was a good thing because otherwise we might have over paid for what we got. Full disclosure we were recently at the Billing's location, and everything was perfect. So we were hoping to recreate that experience. The service from Kelsey was superb, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3. We were in time for happy hour the second drink is free. My huckleberry martinis were good, but the Hubb's strawberry jalapeño margarita lacked the jalapeño slice and jalapeño salt on the rim. I ordered prime rib, garlic mashed and salad with ginger vinaigrette. Mine was good except for the amount of fat on my prime rib. The Hubbs ordered the Bison ribeye, side of halibut, baked potato and salad. First, his salad was very limp. He couldn't eat it. The halibut was over cooked and dry. Our server took it back and gave us credit for it. The dessert was good, but I forgot to ask them to hold the chocolate sauce. My bad! So overall, an okay meal but just not up to the Billings store standards.
