Dos Bandidos - Bixby

A late New Year dinner with friends. Place a little over the day and time, although several tables were in use. Many seating, a large bar and friendly staff. Ordnete “The Donkey” for the first time a Burrito with Fritten internal, and it was crazy delicious. The Queen was very good and I consumed all the Burrito. Oddly my grilled Jalapeño was mild, but my friend had a good heat. I'd like to look over again and try another fair. I was told that the shrimps are amazing.

When we consulted the server/bartender (thanks, Michael!), I ordered an amazing chicken dish topped with chorizo and bacon, accompanied by queso. It was absolutely delicious! The chicken was incredibly juicy, and the beans were the best I've had at any Mexican restaurant in Tulsa—they had a delightful hint of bacon flavor. We also enjoyed house Margaritas, Queso Blanca, and for dessert, Churros filled with Nutella and drizzled with dulce de leche (caramel). Basically, we've found a new favorite spot for date nights that we’ll definitely be visiting regularly!

The outdoor seating is fantastic, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. The $3 margaritas are perfect! I gave it 4 stars because there were no rice and beans, and the chips and salsa had an unusual taste.

Great location with a stylish interior and professional staff. I visited on opening day, but unfortunately, I found the tacos to be a bit bland. I highly recommend adding some signature taco sauces (like hot red and green) and garnishes (such as pineapple, onions, and cilantro), especially if tacos are your main offering.

I was really hoping that whatever restaurant replaced the Rusty Crane (the space’s previous restaurant) would be something special, but this place doesn’t quite do it for me. The food was tasty, but multiple details on our orders were wrong, I’m pretty sure they don’t actually put alcohol in their margs, and the place was pretty empty for a Sunday night. They did give us free sopapillas because of all of the mess ups, but that won’t be enough for me to return. If you’re in the area I’d suggest checking out somewhere like Lone Wolf or The Tavern instead.
