Wiang Thai - Bismarck

One of the absolute best Thai restaurants in North Dakota! We started with hot green tea and ordered the Tom Kha Gai and Tom Yum Koong for our entrees. I like my Thai soup spicy, and I was very pleased with the heat level here. The flavors are on par with Thai restaurants in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, Utah, and Colorado. The atmosphere is so charming that it makes you forget you’re in North Dakota, as it could easily transport you to the East Coast. I highly recommend this place to fellow North Dakotans looking to try something new and delicious. Thank you!

The restaurant's hours may not be as reliable as they appear. I arrived an hour and 15 minutes before their supposed closing time, only to be informed that they would be closing in 15 minutes. It's disappointing that their hours aren't accurately updated on Google. However, the food was fantastic, featuring recipes that stand out from other places, with plenty of unique twists on classic dishes. The service was commendable, especially considering it was near closing time; the staff was friendly despite looking understandably worn out. I felt for them and believe they could benefit from having more servers. Overall, this is a fantastic choice for Thai cuisine!

Overall, my experience was rather average. While many people seem to be excited about this restaurant, I found the food to be quite bland. Unfortunately, the special instructions for the entrees were not followed, resulting in meat being included in my wife's vegetarian dish. Perhaps dining in person would yield a better experience.

The level 4 spice is soooo nice! Ordered online for a late evening dinner, I got the spicy Thai wings and sticky rice, the lady got the pad spicy green bean with chicken, and we shared the spring rolls. The mustachioed man hooked up the Thai milk tea with boba and everything was awesome including the service at pick up.

So delicious!!! I ordered the spring rolls and bamee gai. Amazing. Definitely worth stopping in but also to go.
