Jack's Steakhouse - Bismarck

The service was extremely quick and the food was well done. Steaks cooked perfectly, cheese curd appetizer was scrumptious. The only thing that we didn’t love was we came in dressed up obviously for a date, the restaurant was half empty because it was late on a Thursday night, and the hostess sat us in the only section with small children. The kids were up and out of their seats running around, dancing next to the table, and playing on iPads. Walking up I could tell they were going to be a little wild. We were hoping for a quiet date night, I just wish the hostess would’ve been a little bit more sensitive to that.

Food was pretty good. Not many beers on tap but service was friendly and atmosphere was pleasant. Lots of food choices if your willing to pay but several options at or under $20 too. Overall, a good place to go for dinner from time to time.

We were going to eat in but we got the onion appetizer and after that we asked for the main meal to go. The baked sweet potatoe was wonderful with the asparagus. My steak wasn't as tender as I care for at med/rare. It was my first time there but I've already told friends about it. I'd go back.

Service was great. Steak had no seasoning what so ever. Not even salt or pepper. I understand the whole principle of season to the public but you only don't season a dry aged steak. Any other steak you at least put something on it.

Jack's been here a long time. You've made good food for so long. If you want a good burger or steak, this is the place and don't forget the Jack's sauce!
