Grove Market - Bishopville

The restaurant offers refined dining techniques and wonderful flavors, though the presentation is somewhat extravagant. Our server was excellent! We enjoyed the smoked fish plate, small neck clams, orange duck, and dessert. However, I felt the prices were a bit high.

A fantastic dining experience awaits you at this unique restaurant. Be sure to call ahead to make a reservation, and remember to bring cash, as The Grove truly stands out from the rest.

The waitress was excellent, but the meal was quite disappointing. We had to send back the lamb because it was undercooked, and the smoked tuna, duck, pork, and scallop dishes we ordered were just mediocre. None of us left the restaurant feeling satisfied. Perhaps the regular chef was off or on vacation, but I won't be returning.

We have died here three or four times in the last three years. our recent visit, this last Wednesday, was a disappointment. the server clearly attempted to diners to steer certain courts, and forgot to tell our group of tables the choice of the entrees after our app order. she also doesn't let them know what everyone is tempting, a small detail I find provocative. you don't talk about the cost, but no warning is like a blank check. to eat: we have densed on the rocks, wahoo and lamb. the wahoo was very dry, overboiled and somewhat stale. note that the first wahoo was caught in ocean city was the last part of this week. the potatoes of the maish served as strong were blandy, lumpy and without a spicy. the gurken and tomatensalat on the side, though well, is not something they would dive out at a 200 per couple of dinners. smoker in west oc makes a better one. we are not going to eat for a meal that we could make better at home. the lamb was a bit tough and hard to cut, the rocks was well prepared, but a little bit when we saw here in the past. the dessert a wrench pie sown as large enough to share was literally four bites with a fork, and moderate. we certainly had much better meal times here and probably had our last. very sad to see this place backwards.

The was one of the best meals I have EVER had! Every bite was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection! We had the clams, **** mary crab soup, crab dip, crab norfolk, and scallops with crab with maple glaze! We could have licked our plates! We also had the peanut butter pie, which also was incredible! Soooo worth it!
