This charming little bar is wonderful! We were warmly welcomed by the amazing Ms. Anna, who treated us with genuine hometown hospitality. She made us feel right at home!

While in town for a show at Bishop Hill Creative Commons, we arrived early and decided to check out the local pub for a cocktail. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by Presley, the bartender, who was not only friendly but also makes an excellent Kentucky Mule. Shortly after, we met Derek and John, two local guys who were incredibly welcoming and enjoyable to chat with. I highly recommend this charming establishment. As someone from a small town, I understand how 'outsiders' can sometimes be treated, but that wasn't the case here. Everyone we spoke to was wonderful, including the guy cleaning the taps, who was very engaging. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by for a drink and a meal; I've heard the pizza is fantastic!
