The Birnam Reader Bookshop

Beautifully welcoming, cozy little place with an amazing variety of books. I don't think I would have picked up a bilingual Spanish lyric on this page of london. add cakes and stylish, relaxing music for a perfect bookshop.

I warned inside to check if this was new to the village yesterday. the coffee was really nice, the sevilla orange cake was lush and I also got a coin copy of an ian mckewan romans. all for a five (and an additional £3 for another book). here there is a large selection of books (and cakes) and it is a beautiful space to search. a great resource for birnam.

Highly recommend this cosy wee spot, friendly service, great cakes and good books.

A great wee bookshop and cafe. I really appreciate the fact that it opens later on some days. It's good to be able to pop in after 5pm.
