Karachi Fried Chicken - Birmingham

The KFC signs caught our attention and led us to stop for a meal. As we got closer, we noticed the full name was Karachi Fried Chicken. Just as we were thinking of turning back, a colleague suggested we give it a try. Unlike other fried chicken restaurants, there was a nice atmosphere and the food appeared to be freshly prepared. I ordered the pakoras and Indian-style tea, both of which tasted delicious, especially the tea. My colleagues tried the Karahi chicken, which was tasty but very oily (a common characteristic in Pakistani cuisine). This is a good place to visit if you're looking for Indian-style tea and don't mind the oiliness in the food.

I ended up trying this place out due to heavy traffic on Lady Pool Street, and was pleasantly surprised to find ample parking for about 10 cars right in front of the restaurant.
