Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Birmingham

I visited the restaurant during lunchtime. The cashier, Mike, was working hard to keep the line moving. Despite being busy, he and the rest of the staff were efficient. I ordered a unique item that was no longer on the menu, but Mike informed me that it was still available in their system which was being updated. He went out of his way to speak to the kitchen staff to see if they could still make it for me, and they were able to accommodate my request! It really made my day, especially since I was picking up food for my coworkers. I always enjoy their smoothies and wraps. The service was outstanding! I would give them 6 out of 5 stars if I could!

I have been a sporadic customer at this restaurant for years, but have been coming here 1-3 times per week in recent months. The establishment is consistently clean, the staff is friendly, and the food and smoothies are of high quality and always accurate (I have never received the wrong order!). My daughters also love this place and often choose it when given the option for lunch or dinner. I appreciate that they allow for customization of any item. For example, my daughter made her own wrap tonight with chicken, lettuce, and mozzarella, a modified version of the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Our favorite smoothie is the Peanut Butter Cup, but we also recommend the Island Green, Avocolada, and Beach Bum (with white chocolate instead of regular chocolate). My top food choices are the Chicken Pesto Flatbread, Buffalo Chicken Wrap with sauces on the side, and the Chicken Caprese Sandwich. If you visit, be prepared to wait even during non-peak hours as everything is made fresh to order. The team works diligently and does a great job.

Yes they taste good, but I can't say much more, they are very sugary, so if they want a healthy smoothie don't come here, but it tastes quite good at a hot day.

Smoothie was amazing, but I asked the cashier when the veggie wrap was vegan, and ordered after he said it was okay. When I got the package, I realized it was safe and ranch, so I was disappointed.

The staff at this restaurant is really friendly. I dined here twice last week and the food and smoothies were top-notch.
