The Upper Deck - Birmingham

Love this place from the staff , djs and vibe it's definitely a go to spot of mine.

We came to AL for memorial weekend and found this place by google search. It was super chill and laid back. The bartender was very helpful and the crowd was easy going. We are used to drinks being a bit stronger at home, but I'd take this spot just because of the drama free, fun atmosphere. I even beat hubby in a game of pool!

When me and my husband got there the Dj was staring at us the hold time like she had a problem I don’t no the lady this was my first time there other than that we had a good time once she stop staring ??‍

In the past this bar was a bit more diverse in the types of patrons it had. On the evening I visited me and my girlfriend were quite the minority being the only Caucasians in the joint. But we still braved our way up on that kareoke stage and sang our hearts out to at least make the 5$ cover and $16 drink order worth it. To top off the night someone hit our car in the parking lot leaving a huge scratch and didn't even check up but sped away. We won't be returning to this spot and are happy we made it out alive.
