Newk's Eatery - Birmingham

It was evident that there was a change in management at the restaurant. I had placed an order in advance, but when I arrived to pick it up, I found that it had been mistakenly taken off the shelf. The staff promptly prepared a new pizza and salad for me, along with offering an apology and a complimentary drink. I was impressed with their quick response and excellent customer service. Well done, guys!

I usually order pizza at Newk's,so I thought I would try the salad. I had the Greek and my friend had the Cobb. Both were fresh and portions were very generous.

I am not local to this area, but met my daughter to eat as she's attending UAB. They took my order immediately, recommended what was their favorite menu items, they were patient with me when I had forgotten my card in the car. The food was delicious! They were so sweet to my young son as well. I will definitely make a habit of eating here when I visit Birmingham!

This Newk's Eatery does not have the self service items that Newk's restaurants usually have. No roasted garlic, croutons, jalapenos, pickles cheese, etc. out to add to your soup, sandwich, salad, or pizza. The food and service were good except there was no roasted garlic. It makes a difference.

Food was great, service was good, food came out in a decent amount of time, and it wasn't overly expensive.
