New China Buffet - Birmingham

Food was mid, the seafood was all mushy. The plates were dirty. The ice cream containers had holes and were torn. The table salt was all blueish, one was even brown and it looked like mold was growing on it somehow. A waitress took the vomit looking salt,placed it on another table and brought us a cleaner looking one from that table. The place is not clean but any means. No chancewe're coming back.

There is a wide variety of well prepared, tasty foods. The staff was friendly. The price has increased since the last time I was there. I felt the price for the buffet was a little too high. I did not like the plastic utensils that were provided to eatwith. I would rather have real forks, spoons, and knives.

On Friday night, I took my wife and kids to the China Buffet in Crestwood after not visiting for nearly two years. We were planning to catch a movie afterward, which is also in the same plaza. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as I remembered. My wife complained that the shrimp didn't taste right, and my son tried some large prawns with their heads on. He found the shrimp mushy and said it had a terrible aftertaste. Overall, we didn't enjoy the food at all. The service was decent, and the atmosphere was okay, but I don’t think we’ll be returning. It's been almost two years since our last visit, and I'm afraid that was our last visit as well.

I’m really happy they reopened this restaurant! The previous Chinese place was becoming unkempt. The food here is fantastic! However, I do hope they address the pond next to the entrance because it’s in pretty poor condition. It really needs to be cleaned up! Please consider this!

The restaurant offers delicious food at great prices, along with a wide variety of options. The staff is friendly and welcoming!
