The chicken and fries were subpar. I appreciate the good service but it only gets you so far for continuing food business. Definitely get the milk shakes though!
The service is always friendly, the sweet tea is the best, and their Milo Sauce is unbeatable. We make sure to stop by this location every time we are in town. Additionally, the cleanliness of the location is exceptional.
Upon entering the restaurant to pick up an order, I was not greeted or acknowledged in any way and had to request a greeting from the cashier. Two employees even saw me and walked away. This incident took place on August 23rd, 2023, at around 7:30 pm. It seemed like the cashier on duty did not approve of me based on my appearance or who I am, which was highly unprofessional. As a customer, I believe it is the responsibility of restaurant staff to treat all patrons equally, without any bias or discrimination. Regardless of who walks in, customers should be greeted warmly and treated with respect. I expect a commitment to equal treatment from an establishment serving the public. The noticeable difference between this particular franchise and the one I visit in Pelham, which I believe is owned by the same person, is concerning. It appears that there may have been a failure in properly training and vetting the employees at this location. Differentiating treatment based on appearance or assumed social status goes against the values of a reputable restaurant. Coming from New York City, where equal treatment and respect for all are standard, I am disheartened by this experience. Some may argue that this incident is insignificant, but when multiple employees purposefully ignore a customer who greeted them warmly, it becomes a significant issue. Such behavior not only damages the reputation of your establishment but also deters customers from returning. I hope you take this matter seriously and thoroughly investigate the incident. It's essential for your franchise to uphold inclusive values and respect every individual who walks through its doors. Proper training and evaluation of employees are crucial to ensure that discriminatory behavior has no place in your restaurants. I urge you to address this matter promptly and take the necessary steps to prevent similar incidents in the future. Discrimination should never be tolerated in any establishment serving the public. Failing to address and rectify these concerns will undoubtedly impact the reputation and patronage of your franchise.
I placed a somewhat odd order for a cheeseburger combo and got a few other things. I was so pleased that they got the order right and the food was nice and hot. Nice location and plenty of parking spaces.
Milo’s Cahaba Heights location provides the best customer service I’ve ever experienced from a fast food restaurant. The staff here are always happy to help with a friendly smile, and work hard to make each customer feel welcome. Everyone in the state of Alabama knows it’s going to be good, because ya know, it’s Milo’s, but this location exceeds expectations every time. Drop what you’re doing, and give them a visit; God knows I do more than I should. Everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody goes to should go to this) Milo’s.
