Hardee's - Birmingham

I wish I could give this place zero stars! It's hard to understand how they're still in business. The cookies I bought were hard, dry, and burned, as if they had been left out for a week. This place is a complete letdown. The only reason to come here is if it's the closest option!

I tried the Famous Star combo (without the special sauce), and it was fantastic! The onion rings were fresh and served hot! I'm not quite sure what the special sauce contains.

There are a few fantastic staff members, especially a gentleman in his 40s who brings great energy and music to the late-night shifts. We struck up a friendship, and I often drove all the way to Roebuck just to enjoy my mushroom Swiss and spicy chicken from him, even though there are other locations closer to my home. Unfortunately, it seems they've made the unfortunate decision to let him go, and I've lost my reason to visit. The charm of the place has faded since the late-night crew stopped working. Sometimes even the fries feel overlooked, and ever since they stopped being open 24 hours, the quality of the meat has varied, tasting a bit off at times. I no longer visit this restaurant, as it just isn’t the same without that special late-night atmosphere.

Terrible terrible service at this point all the time. It's so comfortable where I stay, and I'll give it every morning. Like this morning, I'm going up at 615 and ordered 2 sausage biscuits. 15 minutes later I am still behind the same 2 cars in the line. And the girl at the headset didn't even speak. Even if I have to go somewhere else, I will not return to Hardee's in Roebuck. I hate not to give stars. .
