Bidrage med feedbackI have an issue with the other side. I literally frequent them at least 3 times a week and bring others in as well. One of my fav places to purchase all my herbal needs as well as healthy food. However I was purchasing the Madhava Organic Light Agave from them on the regular although Publix was a$1.50 cents cheaper. Simply because I loved this place. Rings you name it, i purchase. Well the Agave 23.5 oz. was being sold last week for 7.69 cents so I sent my coworker there to get us all more and needless to say they had jacked the price up to 10.99! now thats just ridiculous that it went up 3 whole dollars in less than 2 days of my last purchase. When she returned I thought it was a mistake until the receipt and the bottle now said 10.99 when Publix has it for 6.83! I called and someone said they would get the buyer to call me back because maybe it was a misprint. NOONE CALLED ME AND THIS IS RUBBISH! same size, same brand, 2 days later cost 3 dollars more when everywhere else its under 7 bucks. Even if the cost went up for the buyer it could not have been enough to jack the price up 3 dollars. Now it makes me question the prices I thought were good. From now on ill be price matching and visiting them less and less . May not be much to anyone else but as a frequent shopper and an item i purchase often , its a lot to me. So Publix and amazon it is!
Love coming here for holistic supplies and the Vegan lunch options
Came here while visiting from out of state and purchased the cutest pair of sandals and a few bracelets that I wear or have on me daily, along with a few other items and gifts for others. My mom and I browsed the store for at least an hour and had a great lunch in the cafe afterwards. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and there was a good vibe in the store. Next time I visit Birmingham I will definitely be back!
This place is absolutely amazing. The majority of the regular menu is the same ingredients done different ways, but the specials and soups, that's where it's at. The potato leek soup and the farmer's pie are the rarest, but most amazing things you will ever eat there. The people are nice and the food comes out fast. Not to mention it's the only vegetarian cafe in the city of birmingham. The food is a bit pricey, but trust me, it's worth it.
I eat here once or twice a week. Taco Tuesday features bean and guacamole whole wheat tacos, with lettuce, salsa, and a choice of two small sides (out of black beans, pinto beans, tortilla chips, rice). The people are sweet, the ambiance is quiet, and food and drink selections are reasonably broad.
