Chili's Grill - Birmingham

This restaurant was incredibly disappointing. They were seriously understaffed, leading to a nearly two-hour wait for our food, with each dish arriving 15 to 20 minutes apart. Even when our meals finally arrived, we were still missing items we had ordered. Our waiter vanished for about 30 to 45 minutes, leaving us without any assistance. While we were waiting for our table, we overheard another customer say they had also been waiting for around two hours and described the situation as a complete disaster. Apparently, a worker had just been fired, and we witnessed the manager telling her to go work somewhere else. Given this experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again.

I found my server to be very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, the food was served extremely cold, as if it had been sitting out before being brought to our table. They could have at least warmed it up! I ordered four different meals for four people, and everything was cold. I cannot recommend this place! Just to note, the restaurant wasn't crowded at all, with very few patrons, so there's really no excuse for the temperature of the dishes.

I was informed that there would be a 30-minute wait for a table, but after 45 minutes, there was still no indication of when we might be seated. As we were leaving, several patrons commented on how poor the service and food were. So, we decided to leave as well. We ended up going to Applebee's, where we were seated right away.

I have returned to this chilis for years because the food is always so good, but the service always falls short. Their wait staff has no hustle nor do they care about customer service. Waited for 20 mins to be sat with no customers in the restaurant, and waited an hour for our food even after placing the order. Will not be returning.
