What a disappointment! It’s not a good sign if you have to butterfly a filet to cook it to medium well. None of our steaks were seasoned at all; first rule of cooking season your food! Baked potatoes were really small and it took a couple minutes to open all of our condiments for them. Caesar salad wasn’t even good, romaine was cut way too large and again, had to open our own dressings. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Had a really good homemade burger. My side piece had shrimp. Very good food. Nice little find. No complaints.

Here is my experience at Stoppers. Founded in the 1980s and nothing changed except the prices. The smell when you walk in is kind of like a place where someone smoked in there the other day plus seafood. Everything has that old look and is tacky/sticky to the touch. They don't have many beverage options and it would be nice to offer sparkling water or even club soda, but the water tasted ok. The food, I felt was mediocre. It wasn't too bad but wasn't too good either. Things were really not seasoned at all and could have used more flavor. Overall, I am surprised how packed it is every weekend which is why we decided to try it. I would say the value was so/so. For the money, there are way better restaurants in the area.
