The River Bistro - Binghamton

The atmosphere is fantastic, offering a relaxing vibe where you can either sit at the bar or enjoy a formal meal. Despite being a nicer venue, there's no strict dress code due to its location within the hotel. You can easily dress up for a special evening or opt for comfort, and you'll fit right in. During our visit, there was a live musician performing, which added a lovely touch to the experience. The food and service were exceptional. Our server, Alisha, was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. You can check out the photos below to see what we ordered. My favorites were the crayfish mac and cheese and the fried string beans, though everything was delicious. I did have a couple of minor concerns. The chairs, which feature metal legs that rise above the seat, were a bit uncomfortable for someone of my size, so that might be an issue for larger guests. Additionally, the crème brûlée had a coffee flavor. While some might appreciate this unique twist on the classic dessert, I happen to be one of the few people who dislike coffee. Overall, though, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

The food is simple and well-prepared, and the service is excellent. It's very convenient for hotel guests. However, there is a lot of competition nearby.
