Bidrage med feedbackAnother excellent dinner in ps. hubby had the duck: “best ive ever had”. I had light dinner of thai chicken sate and salat. the chicken was incredibly moist and tasteful. great service and atmosphere too. highly recommended. they get reservations because natives love to eat here and it sells quickly.
They recently moved to Binghamton and the atmosphere is a bit changed from the fine dining it used to be tablecloths are gone, TV's in the bar area, and it's much louder. They also reduced the menu, seemingly going more for world cuisine than Thai-inspired, and cutting back on the vegetarian entrees in particular. However, the quality and presentation of the food and the manners of the staff are still excellent. They have unique and exciting options in every section of the menu and the food/drink is all very tasty. Portions may not look huge, but everything is surprisingly filling. Prices are still just as expensive as they were when it was true fine-dining, so it's not a place to frequent.
Friendly service and good food. Their appetizers are always my favorite part of the meal, but last time I had a chocolate pot a creme with salted caramel ice cream that was excellent!
Service was wonderful but food wasn't what we expected. I ordered yellowfin tuna special. Apricot sauce could've used more salt and less sweetness, and ahi would have been better if sliced by the chef, my dull knife ruined it. Quality of fish was pretty good though. Chocolate tort was too sweet. I didn't like the texture or taste of the Maraschino cherries and slivered almonds throughout the torte. Husband liked his creme brulee, veal Calvados was ok.
They had shamrock shakes that were good but after telling the person that I'm in recovery and that we personally don't drink anymore she could have double check to make sure we were given the right drink. Will be calling the manger about all this. THEY DIDN'T EVEN SAY SORRY ABOUT ANYTHING.
