Laura's Luncheonette - Binghamton

We made another hockey pit stop and were thrilled to discover this place on our list. The service was exceptional—truly the best we've had in quite a while. The prices were incredibly low, and the food was not only delicious but also generous in portion size. This is the kind of diner everyone should strive to be!

Charming and Authentic Diner! This place serves breakfast and lunch only. The staff is quick and friendly, and the short order cook is excellent, providing great food right in front of you (it's quite a show!). They offer daily specials and delicious soups. Don't miss out on their house-made cinnamon rolls and muffins. Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Jimmy's barbecue spot is fantastic! He and his sister Barbara have a wonderful operation going. I've visited frequently, and I've never been let down. They always have entertaining jokes or great stories to share, and the food is outstanding. My top picks are the bacon and cheese omelette paired with a short stack of pancakes and rye toast, as well as their bacon cheeseburger with fries. (Everything stays hot for at least half an hour because it's all made to order, rather than in large quantities.) Be sure to stop by and let them know Drew sent you!

Very good fresh food. A local neighborhood restaurant with friendly staff. I thought we'd met her for years. The Eggs Benedict was at the top.

Great food with small town atmosphere. Jimmy and Barbara are amazing. Always remembers what we like. Their momma Laura is the sweetest woman ever. Love going here.
