Downs Avenue Tavern - Binghamton

One of the favorites of my youth. I am pleased that the business that takes the health of its employees and their mice seriously, despite some visitors' misimpression, that they have a constitutional right to be the Kovid equivalent of typhoid marys. good for you, downs tavern!

This is an excellent local bar with affordable prices for beer. The bartender is friendly and attentive.

A quaint cozy neighborhood pub in the First Ward of Binghamton. Nothing flashy, the grill doesn't open until 5.

This restaurant deserves to be boycotted! They are enforcing policies that are not required of them. Furthermore, even if these policies were necessary, they should prioritize upholding their customers' constitutional rights. I'm uncertain whether I am encountering ignorance or malice in this situation.

The restaurant is now requiring proof of Covid vaccination. While it may be their prerogative, this policy is discriminatory towards those who are medically unable to receive the vaccine. Additionally, their response on social media regarding this issue was disrespectful and callous.
