Here solo on the shop searched for beautiful place on the river for fast dinner. This place is okay. The waitresses were very friendly and helped with the menu display I had no German and found a place to sit in the lively terrace. Super wine list with local wines from directly above the river where you can see the vineyards from the restaurant. Food was reasonable, only with carpaccio and olives and bread. Menu limited. The table next to my had age to wait for her steaks and they didn't look so great when they arrived. Service relatively slow, but nice and friendly. Ask as a place for drinks and nibbles not main meal

A great place to stop, rest your feet, take in the spectacular view of the Rhein and enjoy a nice full glass of wine. Sit outside. The waitress was very friendly and dealt with our lack of German with a smile.

I visited here with a friend on a quiet Tuesday evening. The location directly on the Rhine river looking toward Ruedesheim and the vineyards make this a beautiful choice. Visiting on a November evening meant that the floor to ceiling windows were most welcome and the modern, airy interior design keeps the ambience very pleasant. In the summer there is a large outdoor terrace as well. The menu features a lot of different wines direct from local area winemakers and coffee culture is alive and well. The food selection is kept very concise and regional. I had the special of the day, Spaetzle with wild boar strips. It was very satisfying. Our waitress was fast, helpful and fun. And she let me charge my phone behind the bar.

An initiative of several local wine producers to come up with a place to enjoy high quality regional wines. If it is for testing or just taking a break the place offers good quality, reasonable prices and a superb location. Do not hesitate to buy if you like the wine.
