Sumo Japanese Steakhouse Sushi - Biloxi

So first off the server was rude which is a bad sign right off the bat. We had our kid with us and she left without getting his drink order, they didn’t give him silverware, or even acknowledge him at all. We got the lunch hibachi and the plates had so much sauce it was almost like soup. Steak was overcooked, chicken undercooked, there was raw rice on the plate in with the cooked rice, and a hidden up charge for noodles that I was not informed about. The drink alone was $6 for a glass of sweet tea. The sushi came out last and as soon as she put it down on the table she disappeared. I wasn’t offered any soy sauce or chopsticks or anything. The host had to come from the host stand and get us to go boxes and our check. We will not be returning to this establishment.

It comes up when you search for steak, which is how we ended up there. The food was delicious! We had steak and chicken hibachi, crab rangoons, egg drop soup, and California rolls. The food was brought out as soon as it was ready, so it was hot and fresh. I would recommend it if you're looking for sushi and hibachi. You can choose a regular table or hibachi table.

The lunch specials at Sumos are absolutely amazing. They have $10 chicken hibachi and 3 classic rolls for $16. It was all super cheap and high quality. Staff was also awesome and even gave me a free dessert for my birthday!! Will definitely be coming back.

Best Hibachi Scallops ever!! Love this place and they have the best Hibachi I’ve ever been too.
