Pie Five Pizza - Biloxi

I usually order a pizza without cheese, but at Pie Five, they offer vegan cheese and Impossible meatballs. The vegan cheese they use is Daiya, which I recommend if you're interested. The ingredients are fresh, and they have a deliciously crispy thin crust.

I visit this place for vegan, gluten-free pizza. While they do offer vegan cheese, veggie toppings, and an Impossible burger, it's important to note that there is a risk of cross-contamination. During my last visit, the pizza maker advised against the Impossible burger because it hadn't been handled all day. Additionally, the cheese had bits of cow's milk cheese mixed in, and the utensils appeared to be contaminated with gluten. The pizza itself was quite small—about the size of a personal pan—and for the price, I could have bought three Daiya frozen pizzas instead. This is an update to my previous review from June 6, 2022.

Overall, the pizza is lacking in flavor, but the Impossible meatballs as a regular topping really enhance it. This is an update from the previous review dated September 18, 2021.

The pizza was so delicious. the worker even changed gloves because she had touched milk cheese without having to ask. I recommend it very much!

Pizza was great and for a good price. Only downside, like with many restaurants, is that they use Daiya cheese. In my opinion this is the worst vegan cheese. It’s not bad but Follow Your Heart is way better. I wish more restaurants would make the switch.
