Montana Brewing - Billings

I'm not certain if my illness was due to this restaurant, but I have a strong suspicion it was. I felt unwell about an hour after eating here. The gyro and fries were okay, but I've definitely had better. The cider tasted slightly off, which is disappointing considering "Brewing" is in their name. Additionally, it was quite cold inside the restaurant, which was unfortunate because the cider was not warm at all.

One of our top choices in downtown Billings. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. It can get a little noisy due to its popularity, but that's part of the charm. Don’t miss the outdoor patio—it’s really comfortable and a lot of fun!

I felt unwell all night after having the crab mac and cheese, and the drinks we ordered had a strange aftertaste. However, the server was friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed.

We stopped in around 8:30 on a Thursday night for dinner and drinks. It was a good experience. The beer selection was reasonably large with something for just about everyone; the huckleberry wheat and scotch ale were standouts. We also ordered mixed drinks (huckleberry jalapeno margarita and huckleberry old fashioned) and they were both quite tasty. The food menu includes lots of different brewpub options, including several for vegetarians. We ordered the Zorba Pizza and the Elk Burger with Huckleberry BBQ Sauce. The pizza was pretty good, loads of toppings on an 8 crust. The elk burger was very good, as were the French fries, but we would have liked a bit more of the punchy huckleberry flavor. Service was friendly and attentive, and our waiter made a number of helpful recommendations on request. Live music started around 9, we enjoyed listening to it but could still hold a conversation. We enjoyed our meal there and would go back if in the area.
