Bidrage med feedbackWe had a large family reunion for breakfast...what a great place to come! Our server was excellent; I'm sorry I can't remember her name. She was on top of coffee re-fills and clearing plates--a gem! Bread pudding was creamy; biscuits/gravy were tasty. Lots of choices.
Our Server was Jordan, she was awesome, polite, attentive, and personable. I was kind of surprised that the manager took time out of his busy schedule to come to our table to greet us and then after we finished our meals, he came back over to make sure that we enjoyed our meals. This was a very good experience.
Couldn't stomach anything but salad. Rolls were cold even when first brought out, and stiff. Tried a few other tastes, but food is not good at all. Kids LOVED that they had cotton candy! Great for the kids. They tried pretty much everything. Soft sever was down, but scoop ice cream was a good alternative. 1 star for me, probably a five star for kids. Depends on taste I suppose.
Food was good. Manager was having stern conversation in the open. Ignored me when I tried to ask where to find something. Waitress was very friendly upfront, then disappeared. I Had to go find water pitcher to refill our water. I love the healthy food choices available.
Today was a first for me, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! While the friends I was with knew our destination, I felt like I was on a treasure hunt. My partner was just as puzzled as I was about where we were headed. After a quick phone call, we turned left and found our group patiently waiting outside... TADA!!! It was Golden Corral! I had been hoping for a sit-down restaurant, so I was quite surprised to discover it was a buffet, similar to Hometown Buffet in California. Did I mention I'm new to Wyoming? LOL. While the others eagerly explored the various food sections, I couldn't resist starting at the dessert station. And you know what they say: life is short, so eat dessert first! After we settled at our table, it was time to dig in. Where to begin? I opted for a refreshing salad to start. Next, we hit the frying station for some ‘super-hot fried chicken’ that was still steaming by the time we returned to our table. It was finger-licking good, and I think some fast-food chicken chains might have some competition. Finally, I made my way back to the dessert station. By that point, I was already quite full, but who could resist? I treated myself to some banana cream pudding, chocolate mousse, and a few tiny chocolate chip cookies. Now I'm in a food coma! Is this place worth all the hype I’ve seen on TV and heard about through word of mouth? I can only say a resounding YESSSSSSSSSSSSS PLEASE. I will definitely be back. 5 thumbs up... Highly recommended!
