Gaztandegi - Bilbao

Although we tried this pintxos bar without the advice from TA, my hunch worked great pintxos, cidra and chacoli (of course wine too). They seem to be good at cheese based pintxos but all we tried were excellent. A barman doesn't speak much of English but is kind and nice. Atmosphere is quite good, full of local regulars, they are lucky to have a bar like this. We recommend this pitxos bar if we were undecided which to choose.

Excellent Spanish Pintxos served with cheese, fish or meet, cold or hot, inside bar or take away. Good local wine was recommended.

Great cheese oriented pinxtos! Visited twice while in Bilbao. Super friendly and nice wine selections by the glass.

Auténtico bar de pintxos en una de las calles con más ambiente de Bilbao. La especialidad son los pintxos de queso: a escoger entre mucha variedad y textura. El lugar es chiquitito y suele estar lleno, pero siempre puedes hacerte un hueco por la barra y disfrutar de la comida acompañada de un buen txacolí. ¡Muy recomendado!
