Deadman's Flats Husky House

Pretty standard roadside diner. Like a Humpty's or Denny's. The coffee is hot , breakfast or lunch have always been average or above. Worth the stop if you are looking to get an early start on the highway but don't want to be tied up in town first. Not a bad place if camping down the road for a quick snack the odd day..:)

Great Quick Basic Reasonable Meal, always fresh, especially breakfast. Can't get a quick, basic reasonable meal for any less, plus great place to fill for gas - always cheaper than Canmore. Staff pleasant. Nothing fancy, popular truck stop and local gas stop.

We've been here a couple of times. The first time we had slow service and she messed up our orders and forgot to bring us utensils. The food we had was still good, however. The other times there were not issues. The views are nice and the prices are good.

We all know this isn't a fine dining experience but wow!!This was horrible!How do you mess up breakfast?Have a look at the picture I posted and judge for yourself.If you are that hungry keep driving 5 minutes and stop in Canmore.

Ok, so it's not fine dining. But if you're looking for a place with reliable good food, quick to your table and awesome customer service from Faye, this is the place to go. I usually have the Traditional breakfast and the potatoes are done just right.
