The Tavern - BIGFORK

Hey, you lucky Montanans! The boss, Tracy Darue, was one of the big chefs in Northern California. I'd go a long way... more than Montana to eat in Tracy and Don's new restaurant. The picture of a burger just ruined my lunch. I'm pouring out my soup and looking for a burger I know I'm still not coming close to Tracy's.

Amazing food and pretty quick service. So nice to have another great option for lunch and dinner in bigfork.

Hidden Gem! Great Food We called and ordered 30 minutes before their kitchen closed, when I arrived the food was ready and I was informed I could also take a brew to-go! (I'm from out of state). I brought our burgers and fries back to out airbnb, and it was great, couldn't believe take-out could taste this good. The three minutes I was there it looked like a very friendly atmosphere.

My husband and I loved this restaurant from the moment it opened. They just changed their approach from a casual bar to a charming Italian, sit down restaurant and the food is so wonderful. The atmosphere is still casual but the food is worthy of a 5 star restaurant!
