Alberto's Crystal Cafe - Big Spring

This was our first time here and honestly was not impressed. For food it was not important, it was very salty and small portions for such a high price. The waitress, she wasn't very friendly, she seemed more interested in her staff than we did. The other saints around us were friendly and recommended what they thought would be a good record to order. In any case could have gone somewhere else, less spent and would have been much more satisfied. It might be the alley of other people, but it missed us the sign.

I went to Alberto almost from the time it opened in 1975. I would say the service and quality were consistent in this time. I haven't lived in BS for several years. I'll go there a few times. The service was low on average. The food has always been average. They recently moved to another place and as far as Drive-thru goes, the service is worse. 10 chips and two 2 oz salsa for and order for two. There were no tacos with the House Special. When we returned the woman in the window, we said lie. Enchiladas were always of good quality. Now they are a rolled corstortilla with some meat and sauce over it. This is not Enchilada and definitely not the Enchildas I got with the original owners. Just like another favorite Mexican restaurant in BS I won't mention, I probably won't be back to Albertos. Progress is good, but not when a long tradition of average quality food suffers.

New location, food is still top quality!! Love the optional online check-in and text to let you know that your table is ready. Service was great, just like the meal!!

Very good food and attentive service. Good margaritas. They were packed and very busy on a Tuesday night. The waitress, Providence, was very pleasant and cared for us despite the very busy amount. Had large screen TVs everywhere that many like, but I find them distracting. Totally great experience.

Had the fajita for 17.99 and got maybe 6 pieces of meat and cup of fried crisp onion. Half a cup each of beans and rice. 2 tortillas.. food was good, but could do better for the price.
