Red Baron Pizza - Big Bear Lake

Bad pizza place in the big bear. There was absolutely no service when we left. We went to a weekend and there was a cashier and 1 chef. The atmosphere is not welcoming or cozy. We sat for 30 minutes until a waitress came out so we left and ate somewhere else. Will never go back.

Pretty good pizza, but overall a badly guided decor. We went in and set up an order, ready to wait since we didn't call before. We ordered two pizzas and an order of cinnamon bites. We said it was about 25 minutes? We decided to wait in the restaurant and play some games in the arcade. At 25 minutes later we started to stand the front counter again, so we heard when they called us. The guy who originally took our order saw us several times and didn't say anything, so we thought it was just not done. We're waiting. Then in 40 minutes we decide to come into the (now) line of people waiting for cash. It felt like there were a lot of people working, but no one comes from the counter despite the line, no one seems to know where any orders are, and again and again we see orders partially made and wait for random things like wings, salads etc. what is just silly when all take much less time to cook than pizzas, so there is simply no reason. About 10 minutes later, we finally get someone's attention and find out that our pizza in the heater was through the front counter for about 20 minutes and now they're waiting for the cinnamon bites they just put in. Brutal. No excuse, no one offered a drink while we waited, nothing. After about one hour (quoted after 25 minutes). We checked the pizzas before we go to make sure they were right. Then we came home and warn a pizza?t cut and the cherry on the already bad experience? the cinnamon bites have not dipped.

Update... We used to be here and loved it, but... This visit was a great disappointment... Pizza red Baron special) was seriously understated. Onions were raw, mushrooms were room temp, cheese was partly warm and not completely melted... I know the work is hard to find here and maybe they were understated? Bottom line is that if this experience was our first, we'd never come back.... On a scale of 1-10, this pizza was a 2 best.. Pizza freed from a box would be a better option : We ordered the Red Baron Special and it was AMAZING! Bands below, the best pizza in Big Bear

Definitely more a sports bar not a restaurant, but friendly staff, the wings and meatballs Sub were good. My pizza took out forever and I'm pretty sure it was just a frozen pizza. If Red Baron Bar is called, not Red Baron Pizza.

We like small business and we're visiting for the weekend and thought this would be good but was proven otherwise. Ordered 2 mini pizzas with no special instructions and a salad for delivery. Prepaid the meal and tipped 20% digitally hoping to get good service. Instead it took 1 Hour and 45 Minutes to get delivered. The crusts were wrong on both pizzas. Meat lovers pizza was cold and dough under cooked and my wife didn't even want to touch her Margherita because it had enough garlic to kill a vampire. God forbid the cook has to do anything 2 hours before close. The only redeeming part was the delivery guy was cool and polite which I can appreciate.
