Jaspers Smokehouse Steaks

The food is ok. Being from the south, it was a little disappointing not to taste the smoke flavor... maybe the sweetness of the applewood overpowered the hickory? But the Mac and Cheese was a 10, 10, 10, 10 from all of us at the table. Delicious!!! The pickle chips were almost too dilly flavored but a great breading and fry. The baked beans were good and seemed to have a bourbon flavor to them. The corn bread... meh. Just ok...tasted like it was a box mix. The southern sweet tea was Gold Peak... so disappointing. It would be cheaper for the restaurant to brew their own tea. But the wait staff were awesome and so friendly. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing. We enjoyed it.

We've been craving barbecue for a while and found thus delicious gem while visiting Big Bear over the weekend. We started off with a couple of beers and their perfect chicharrones. Then, we followed with the pulled pork and brisket meal. We couldn't decide on just two sides so we went with the mac and cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread. We ordered with our eyes and had plenty of leftovers for later! Everything we tried there was so good! Everyone who approached our table was so nice. 5 stars on service and food all the way! Cannot wait to visit Big Bear again to eat at Jasper's!

Bbq was delicious, the brisket fries as an appetizer was delicious (my favorite thing there). Perfect after a day of hiking/biking. Chill atmosphere! I recommend.

Omar was our waiter and he performed excellent customer service! We ate at the bar and the food and drinks exceeded our expectations! We had the chicharrones and the brisket…. Everything was top notch!!!

We had a great time at the restaurant and loved the food! We tried the smoked chicken macaroni and cheese, the brisket sandwich, and sweet potato fries - everything was delicious.
