Bidrage med feedbackLovely lush setting along a little creek for this restaurant and cellar door.
Amazing menu! We were even fighting over the kids toastiesThe wine tasting list is the first where I have enjoyed every item.
One of the great joys of being on mailing lists is the opportunity that a random emailed event can present.
We ventured out with friends to the Vineyard Kitchen on a cold July Sunday for lunch. We took the opportunity of a little wine tasting on the way in and our table close to the open fire was very welcome. I had the sardines as a starter which were ok, but nothing to rave about. For a main I had the spiced lamb and feta parcel which was very tasty. Creme Brulee for dessert which again was nothing really special. The restaurant itself has a nice quirky atmosphere in a beautiful valley setting. Service was efficient and friendly and their own wines were very good quality and value.
The choices offered for the fixed-price lunch ($56) were outstanding - never seen so many delectable choices for a fixed-price venue before. And the food quality was outstanding. Best meal I've had in the Perth area for a long time. Only serves their own wines so wine choices are restricted - would have liked to see a few more wines from other sources offered. This place definitely rates a return visit, hopefully in Spring. But you need to book as it can be quite busy.
