Bidrage med feedbackThe two evening meals we had here during our stay were very pleasant. there is a menu del dia listing 2 courses for 12 euro and 3 for 16 euro, the a la carte, not large, but a good selection also offers at reasonable...Prices I had the largest steak in the 1st night, tender and cooked for perfection. the pork cakes on the following evening simply melt in their juices. delicious. a rioja on the glass matched to the dressed and there is a fair wine selection and other drinks. the waiter was a shady that showed up with my appalling attempts in the Spanish talk. the dining room was a tad spa and business and lighting bright and a bit unpredictable. I can imagine that eating on the terrace on a summer evening with a view of the beautiful garden would be heavenly. biar itself is quite small and you are limited especially mid-week in februar, the vizconde in the hotel villa de biar more than compensated. we had a thoroughly pleasant eating (two)
This time we had visitors from the england, that was my son-in-law who was a michelin star chef. this time we tried different things, the foie pate was a joy, the sweet and Aioli squid was delicious. my wife said he'd see with the trout. kaviar was amazing. positive comments from all others around the table we have with a chocolate fond, sky on a teller if they like chocolate. coffee and brandies ended a fabulous lunch. the service was in front of place, as it was the first time that we visited. the restaurant is clean, crunchy and modern. the environment is beautiful, they can also use the outdoor pool if they want. give it a try, they will not be disappointed. since this visit I also took four of our friends there, they also thought it was very good.
A modern restaurant in the hotel biar, beautiful furniture, good view over the terrace and the pool area. menu could be considered typical Spanish, but with a twist and a bit of a class. the workers speak for those who need it, reasonably English, but. the menu is only in Spanish. I must say the service was friendly and very good through the eating experience. we started with a piece of foie gras pate served with a glass gel, red fruits and toast as enough for two people. fabulous pate, beautifully presented, would have been better with fresh French toast not the Toast place from a package. good vater deserves good toast. we had chosen a lukedum red wein, smooth and on the light side went perfectly with this cursor. we followed this with calamari, nicely cooked served on a bed of small cubes of sauteed kartoffels and black pudding, again enough for two, beautifully presented, better when the plate was hot. for one main I had the baked baby lamb, a fabulous piece of meat with a rich sauce, served with slices of carrots, which were unfortunately only lukewarm too cold and a little slender. this fabulous piece meat deserved some beautiful bratkartoffels or maybe a garlic hash or I dare say some good cloby chips and a hot plate. my wife had the dorada (sea bream), a beautiful filet served on a puff baked basis, served with baby tomats and we ordered croquette potatoes that was perfect with this dish. for dessert we have a super rich Belgium chocolate pudding, tasty, then coffee, brand and shared a cigar on the terrace. warm glasses for the brandy would have been nice. total invoice 86.00 euro, ca. £61.00 today's exchange rate, brilliant value for money. as I said, very good, we will go again, it could be so much better with just a few small adjustments. I hope the restaurant reads this review and takes to knowledge.
