Costa Brava - Bezirk Zuerich

The food was of a very high standard. Great rump steak, and a very atmospheric restaurant, a very nice evening.

My partner had a couple of business lunches in Costa Brava always with excellent food and he wanted to show me how great this restaurant is. The athmosphere is very nice, the waiters are kind. As a starter I had carpaccio and steak with greenpeppercorn sauce as a main dish. The quality of the meat was excellent, I would highly recommend to visit this place.

The quality of the meat (veal chop) was really amazing, but you have to pay literally a high price for that, first moneywise but also with the service! At some moments I had the feeling the waiter just ignored me and I had to feel happy to get his service...

I worked for the past couple of years in Zurich for a major Swiss corporation. We took customers, partners and other acquaintances to lunch and dinner to the Costa Brava. This place is run by Francisco and Amador who are two spanish brothers for the past 20+ years. Anselmo is the head waiter. Yes, like every other place, there is a menu to choose from. However, you don't need to. There is only one question to answer: Meat or fish? If it's fish, you take the sole. No sauce, please! I don't know where they get constantly exceptional sole 365 days a year (since you cannot fish dedicately for sole! . If it's meat you desire, there's a choice between argentine beef fillet or veal cutlet. Side dishes would be spanish potatoes and spinach, for instance. For starters you want to choose mixed platter of seafood or the scampis in garlic (depending on your upcoming nighlife, of course ; Even though I no longer work in Switzerland, I return to the Costa Brava quite often and always feel at home and cared for by the perfect staff and the best spanish cooking in Zurich (maybe even Switzerland And, please, stop complaining about the pricing! You're in Switzerland. Nothing's cheap here. So value what bang you get for your buck!

Been back after my trip to foreign countries. Yes... since years still very good and they recognized me again. Great food and wine... sure u pay for what u get but worth every penny. Yes... i will be back Yes... i will recommen this place
