Chatterbox Ii - Beverly

I ordered the mild wings, and they arrived drenched in about three tablespoons of margarine with just one tablespoon of hot sauce. My daughter ordered the jumbo shrimp, but what we received were six small, unappetizing shrimp that looked nothing like jumbo shrimp. It would have taken four of these to equal a single true jumbo shrimp. The waitress was pleasant and friendly, but we have no intention of returning to this restaurant.

The service was extremely slow—waiting for a hot dog took about 45 minutes!

Now known as Riverbend Family Dining, we stopped in for lunch for the first time, and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The food was quite tasty. I do want to mention that the Italian wrap turned out to be more of a sandwich, but it was still enjoyable. The potato and sausage soup was absolutely delicious. However, the fries were slightly overcooked and a bit too crunchy for my liking. My only concern was that the staff seemed unaware of how loudly their voices carried from the prep area – we overheard discussions about an upcoming wedding, pet peeves, and more, which provided some unintentional entertainment! The sandwich platter prices mostly fall in the $7-9 range. I definitely recommend trying the potato soup!

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! It has a fantastic atmosphere and even better food. My friends and I really appreciate the exquisite flavors and the lovely, delicate decor. Chatter Box 2 in Beverly, Ohio, is far superior to the original Chatter Box in Sussex, New Jersey! From presentation to taste, it definitely deserves 5 stars!
