Excellent food atmosphere service and overall experience

I spent my birthday at Mastro's with family and it was great!

Good was not at its best, steaks did not come out sizzling hot, side dishes were like warm. Food had been sitting for awhile.

Our server was the best and very informative. Friendly and was in a happy mood inspite of having to tend to many customers . Food was amazing especially the steak , and the butter cake . I got dizzy maybe because of the excessive use of butter . The only thing that I didn’t like was this new food server , the entire spoon accidentally ended up inside the creamed corn and he scooped it out with his bare fingers touching the creamed corn and he even asked if we want to get a new one and I said Ewww of course !! The right thing to do was to just pick it up and give us a new one and he shouldn’t even have asked that question . Over all I’ll give it a four star , but will I go again ? maybe in a couple of years .

We ordered the filet ,pork chop, rack of lamb, halibut, sea bass. The pork chop, halibut, sea bass and the filet all lacked flavor and was bland. I’m was so surprised as many of my friends had recommended this place to me. Place also felt stuffy and warm. Service was okay.
