Bidrage med feedbackThis place is amazingly expensive. I couldn't believe my eyes could see the bill. The portions are as small as we have just ordered in the children's menu. The taste is below average and the menu has no unique selections. You just go here to see celebrities... otherwise... prepare to be starved, unless you're loaded like no other.
Came here for lunch while dineLA. Has appetizers: Chicken Satay, Shrimp Toast with canned walnuts and a chopped fried algae. Satay was pretty day-glow, but tasteful and the sauce delicious. Shrimp Toasts moist but crisp. Velvet Chicken for the main course looked like homemade noodles when it arrived, but much taste; stir fried with paprika and mushrooms. However, the 5 spice shrimps were best. Also here was a day color, but shrimp plump and tasty and so were the accompanying water chestnuts. Steamed rice was mixed rice and had edamame. Interesting. Good place for star seats.
The food is horrible and lacks flavor! The prawns are not prawns and more like medium shrimp. The green bean taste frozen and the lobster noodles weren?t even able to eat. Like what does the chef have against FLAVOR and SEASONING? The fried rice? doyourself a favor and save your time and money. I mean this was on par with PF Changs. They seriously need to get a new chef andhave a come to Jesus moment about what they are serving because this is not worth!
Went here for restaurant week, which is a high recommendation. Otherwise be ready to spend. Drinks did add up quickly but not like any other LA place. Service A . Food was served to share, which I liked and for the most part very good of you addsauces. Desert was good as well. I could see myself returning.
Everything was good up until I realized I?m over paying for mediocre quality of food and service. The appetizer I order was a chicken satay that was $14.00 a skewer, waiter insisted that I order 2 since they?re small, so I did. Didn?t like the way ittasted so I asked if they can at least take 1 of them off the bill since I didn?t like it and didn?t want it. They were sostrict about not taking it off the bill and I must say that is so unprofessional and unethical to decline it, giving that it isa ?high end? Chinese food restaurant. Sad
