Jean-georges Beverly Hills

We visited for a special Cinco de Mayo dinner, and it was fantastic. The food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. The Mariachis added a beautiful touch to the experience. We had a wonderful time. The service, atmosphere, and food are consistently excellent at Jean-Georges, and we always enjoy our visits there.

At the end of our meal, we requested black coffee and wanted to confirm whether it would be a refill or if we would be charged for it. The staff told us it was an additional order. We declined, yet they still poured us the coffee anyway. When we asked the staff if there would be a charge for it, they assured us not to worry. This whole experience was quite confusing. Black coffee costs almost nothing to provide, yet it feels like they're nickel-and-diming their guests who are already spending a considerable amount on their stay.

We had higher expectations. The idea behind this fine dining establishment is to raise the bar, levels of all aspects. From food, to ambience, to service . It felt a bit short in all of these elements.

The service and atmosphere were wonderful, as always, but we were very disappointed with the food. What happened? We've dined here many times for special occasions and regular meals, and the food has always been excellent. Unfortunately, nothing on the menu tasted good this time. Everything was disappointing. Our steaks, which were supposed to be cooked medium, ended up being well done. Easter brunch was particularly bad. I'm not sure if there’s a new chef, but this was not the quality we expected.

Feeling robbed, got to the hotel, valet parking asked if we were dinning, we said yes, gave us a pink slip and said to valid it. We expended 500 USD, asked for validation, waiter said “ don’t need cause you ate here” Asked for car, manager for valet parking comes and asked for 32 USD. We explained and showed receipt, he keep apologizing and asking for the payment. Shame of the place for ruined the experience, do not mind to pay but do not mislead patrons. Its just not right Hilton.
