Asahi Teppanyaki Japanese Restaurant

If you’re looking for a fun way to enjoy your dinner and get food thrown at you, Asahi is the place to go! <br/ Such an enjoyable night with some delicious bites. <br/ You pick the menu set you are after and we picked the “Kobe Set” I really wanted to try out their take on Kobe style beef and I was not disappointed, it was absolutely stunning. The chef only seared it on each side for not even a minute so it was perfectly cooked and once it hit my mouth it melted like butter

The Chefs are very friendly and entertaining and the service is very good. I was disappointed in the food as it taste quite ordinary and the portions were small considering the price that we paid. I suppose when you go to Teppanyaki it's more for the fun and you're really paying for the service, not the food. I would recommend it for work functions, or when you don't have to pay.

Great food, service and ambiance. Been here many times. This resturant has been around for more than 35 years..freshness is second to none. Funny chefs. Good service overall. Will be going back for more when the twins are older.

I had a fun night, the chefs are friendly, skilled and attentive but the waitresses could be better, not even a smile from them

Walked in with no expectations, not realising it was a teppenyaki restaurant til being seated. I've only been to one teppenyaki restaurant before when I was young, but it was my partners first time and he really enjoyed it. Service is amazing! Very Attentive. Chef was great! He noticed that I did not eat meat without me saying and cooked food to suit. Will happily recommend this place and be back with more guests
