Server was helpful explaining the menu. Food sampler with 10 options was great for three people. The service was a bit slow. The food very flavorful and the bread was tangy and unique. Great first experience. I think the only downside was waiting for water refills and the check for quite some time even though the restaurant was almost empty

Warm service from the team from greeting throughout the end of the meal. Well prepared food. Nice quiet atmosphere that enables good conversation. A great place to share a good meal.

Have been regular customers at the Bethesda location for past several years. Our recent visit on 8/30 was a bad one. Injera was extremely sour. The dishes were not tasty. Everything tasted the same. Tried the vegan platter (my usual) and it was very underwhelming. The meat dishes also were mediocre. Spent $170 for a party of 5 and came out very disappointed.

I went here one time during my trip to DC with a group of 5. We made a reservation in advance. First time trying Ethiopian cuisine and it was a nice first experience The food was good and the atmosphere feels like a cozy family dine-in. Affordable price!!
