Bidrage med feedbackLocated just a few steps away from the Atlantic Ocean, The Penguin provided us with an amazing breakfast experience! We began with Bloody Marys and Mimosas, as one should. Our meals varied from Blueberry pancakes to French toast to eggs, all of which were delicious. Personally, I particularly enjoyed the blueberry pancakes. The owners, originally from Vermont, bring in their own maple syrup which was exceptional. Due to our visit in April, the restaurant was relatively quiet. However, I heard that during peak season, there is always a line out the door. Trust me, it's worth the wait!
If you're in search of an affordable, tasty, and fresh breakfast spot, look no further. Comfortable seating, prompt and polite service, and a pleasant atmosphere make it a top choice.
We had a positive experience at this restaurant on a busy Saturday during the craft fair. The food was good and served promptly, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. While it didn't completely impress us, we still give it 4 stars. The breakfast menu was just right for us. Our hosts are regulars and we plan to return as well.
My first time visit. I'm so impressed! The servers were friendly and knew the menu without running to someone to get answers to our questions. They accommodated our GF diet effortlessly. The food is superb! I had the brie apple omelet. OMG! Heavenly!!! Their home fries were crispy on the outside and potato-ey inside, not greasy. Great breakfast!
During the week, we stopped in Bethany and enjoyed breakfast at this local favorites. The ambiance was coastal and laid back. Our server was helpful on dishes and to go containers. We all got different items on the menu. I got with brisket was eggs which was ok. I enjoyed the lemonade I had. I want to try the pop tarts next time.
