Persimmon - Besthesda

FABULOUS!! Probably one of the best meals for delicious food I have had in the USA in the 10 months since moving to NYC from London. I was in Bethesda with friends for a wedding, and we were recommended to come to Persimmons for dinner- it was amazing. Our starter of raw tuna and avacado was divine. My crab cakes were real Maryland crab. The scallop were delicious, and the halibut lightly baked and firm. Highly recommend. And the service was exemplary.

Noisy-Owner sloppily dressed-place has no atmosphere

Two meals inside of two weeks. Everyone's food was outstanding at both meals. Food was a bit slow at both meals (one lunch and one dinner), however very attentive wait staff and very pleasant overall. Nice bar area, not overrun with people so a solo dinner would be nice as well.

4 people in our group, each person ordered different meals. And we all said that our meal was delicious. The pecan crusted lamb was melt in your mouth perfect, my husband had the catch of the day halibut, it was perfect. My dtr had the short ribs. It was very good and tender. The 4th person had soup and salad and said that it was very good. The dinner rolls were tasty. Overall, food,service, and atmosphere were perfect.

Good, service and everything is excellent. I will come back again
